Elevate Chardá Virtual Rally
Today, from 3pm to 5pm, we are co-hosting a virtual rally to Elevate Chardá Bell-Fontenot with Democrats for Equality and several other democratic clubs around the county.
If you haven’t heard about what is happening to School Board Member Chardá Bell-Fontenot from La Mesa Spring Valley School District, you’d better sit down. Ms. Bell-Fontenot is under attack for pointing out the racial undertones and the equity issues present in the opening decisions they were voting on. Some people couldn’t handle it.
We will discuss this further at our next meeting on April 14th, as our programming topic is Equity and Racism in our School Reopening Plans.
