Dear members and Friends,
We will once again be meeting by Zoom (information below), all attendee will be mute until the meeting starts and I will ask that you then mute yourself unless you are speaking to keep the meeting as orderly as we can manage together. We will all be muted during the speaker potion and then we will unmute for question in order.
We have an exciting night focused on the next generation, with Education kicking of the evening. We have a speaker from Schools 1st CA. Julia Adrain with League of Women Voter to speak on Proposition 15 and Education in 2020.
We have a resolution to propose to the members regarding, supports HR 2407 of the 116th session of the U.S. Congress, a bill to promote human rights for Palestinian children.
Sergio Padilla has a proposal for a Club newsletter and is looking for an Editor and university student majoring in Journalism or Political science to volunteer with it. Looking for the members thoughts and help.
I believe we will learn a great deal this month and find ways to help the next generation move the needle on a better more fair and democratic world.
