Dear friends and members of the Spring Valley Lemon Grove Democratic Club,
Welcome to 2016. A big thank you to everyone who came to our holiday brunch, and especially to all the new members that joined in December. It was great fun!
For the January 13 meeting, Miriam Raftery of East County Magazine will join us for a "year in review" of news stories relevant to Spring Valley, Lemon Grove and East County as a whole. We will also to elect our officers for 2016. If you hare interested in running for a leadership position please let us know! We will also be discussing a minor revision in the by-laws.
We will discuss and vote on endorsements at the February 10 meeting. The races we will consider are as follows:
- State Assembly (District 79)
- Congress (District 53)
- Mayor of Lemon Grove
- Helix Water District (District 3)
If there are others, please advise at the January 13 meeting.
