October meeting and walk with Jennifer Mendoza

Hi friends and members of the Spring Valley Lemon Grove Democratic Club!

Please join us on Wednesday October 8 at the Lemon Grove Cafe. Social time at 6:30 and the meeting begins at 7:00. Traditionally, we use the October meeting to discuss the upcoming election. Bring your thoughts and opinions about the candidate or initiative that is close to your heart. We always have a lively, interesting discussion!

Tomorrow morning (Saturday Oct 4) Jennifer Mendoza (candidate for the Lemon Grove City Council) is planning to go to the Fire Dept. breakfast and Open House. Meet us there around 9:30 and after a pancake breakfast we’ll split up into teams of two and walk about 40-50 addresses each. Then if you have time, we can meet back at the International Market on Broadway & Lemon Grove for a bite to eat and to compare progress.

Jennnifer plans to walk about this time every Saturday until election day, so if you can’t make it this time, maybe you can make it another Saturday. Or let us know if you’d like to walk in your neighborhood and talk to your neighbors. Jennifer can provide door hangers.
