Dear friends and members of the Spring Valley Lemon Grove Democratic Club.
We will not be having our usual second Monday meeting in August. Instead we’ll be gathering to celebrate George Gastil’s 50th birthday. The "Roast and Toast" in honor of George’s birthday will be held on August 23, 6-9 pm, at the Citronica One housing complex at 7775 North Avenue, Lemon Grove (next to the trolley depot). Several elected officials and friends of George will be participating. Willie Blair will serve as MC. Thai food will be provided by Mayuree Diangeles. Bring your appetite and your sense of humor! (This is a community event and not a fundraiser.)
