Join us on Thursday, August 15th at 6pm for our regular monthly meeting. Yes! You did read that right. This month we have pushed our meeting one day to Thursday due to the Lemon Grove State of the City being on the evening of our regular meeting.

This month we will be considering endorsement in the following races:

Tentative Endorsement Considerations:

La Mesa City Council

La Mesa Spring Valley School District Governing Board

Grossmont Union High School District Governing Board

The meeting will be held in person at:

Lemon Grove, CA 91945

In order to be eligible to vote on endorsements, you must be up-to-date on your dues. Additionally, members that are new, must attend one meeting prior to being eligible for a vote on endorsements.

There is still an Ongoing Migrant Crisis

The current migrant crisis at our San Diego/Mexico Border is bleak and dire. Our San Diego County Board of Supervisors have allocated funds to address this crisis, but money is about to run out.

Congress must provide Federal Relief to help us address this problem. Tell your representatives to provide relief by providing the basic needs for these refugees to survive and to fully fund the ongoing efforts at the border.

The City of Lemon Grove hosts a monthly food distribution along with several partnering organizations.
