We did it!

Monica Montgomery Steppe has been elected as the next San Diego County Board of Supervisor for District 4, and the first black woman to be elected to the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.

Thank you to everyone who put in hours knocking on doors, sending text messages, and making calls.

Thank you to those who contributed and thank you to those who rallied!

Without hard working people like you, we couldn’t have encouraged so many voters to turn out and vote.

Tomorrow’s Meeting

This year, the Southern Border of the United States is seeing a severe influx in migrants looking to seek refuge in the United States. The sheer number of people and the lack of resources are creating a humanitarian crisis.

Tomorrow night, join the Spring Valley Lemon Grove Democratic Club for a presentation and spirited discussion regarding our country’s current border crisis.

We will hear from humanitarian, activist, and fellow Lemon Grove resident, Krystle Johnson. Krystle runs We All We Got Mutual Aid, handling airport runs and coordinating food and supply deliveries to the border. She also works hand-in-hand with Detention Resistance, distributing food through the fence and responding to migrants dropped in the desert.

The City of Lemon Grove hosts a monthly food distribution along with several partnering organizations. This item and all other Community Food Distributions offering fresh produce and enough food to feed a family, are listed in RED.
