The storms have passed and we wanted to let you know about 2 very exciting events that are coming up soon!

Tomorrow is the 2023 Council of Clubs Summit hosted by the San Diego County Democratic Party and San Diego Democrats for Equality. Registration is free and it is a great opportunity to meet other local democrats!

Several club members will be at the event and we would love for you to join us!

Just a quick reminder about 2 civic engagement opportunities in Lemon Grove that we wanted to make sure you saw on our calendar.

In addition to this weekend’s summit, our club will be hosting a fundraiser on Sunday, September 10th at 2pm. Food and beverages will be provided and all proceeds will support local democratic candidates and/or causes in Spring Valley and Lemon Grove.

If you have been getting our emails and have considered coming out to meet us, now is the time to do it! Several of our local elected officials will be in attendance and you will meet them face to face.

In addition, as an added incentive to those who have been on the fence about coming out to meet us, we are offering to cover your first year’s membership dues with your event registration. This means you will officially be a club member and enjoy the benefits that go along with it! You have a say in club business and a vote in all of our endorsement meetings leading up to the 2024 election! So bring out your friends and neighbors and let’s raise some money to continue making the positive change we all so desperately want to see!

Community Food Distributions

The City of Lemon Grove hosts a monthly food distribution along with several partnering organizations. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
