Special Election Endorsement Meeting

| Hi Fellow Democrats!
Tonight our club will attempt to endorse in the San Diego County Board of Supervisor, District 4, Special Election. There are 2 Democrats in the race and both will be considered for endorsement by the club.
On the same evening, the club will vote on a Friendly Incumbent Endorsement for San Diego County Board of Supervisor, District 1 & District 3, although we do not have confirmation from candidates in these races regarding their attendance.
For clarity, the candidates and races to be considered are as follows:
San Diego County Board of Supervisors; 2024 General Election:
- District 1: Supervisor Nora Vargas
- District 3: Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer
San Diego County Board of Supervisors; Special Election, August 15th:
- District 4:
- Monica Montgomery Steppe
- Janessa Goldbeck
No Endorsement is an option in all races being considered. |
Endorsement Meeting Voting Eligibility

| Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting, meet and hear from the Democratic Candidates running for San Diego County Board of Supervisors. However, in order to vote at the upcoming endorsement meeting, you must be a member in good standing. This means you must be up to date on your dues before the start of tonight’s meeting. If you are unsure of whether or not you are up-to-date, please reply to this email and we can let you know.
If you have let your membership lapse, but have been a paid member within the last 2 years, you may pay your dues and maintain your voting eligibility.
For new or potentially new members: If you have never been a member, you will not be eligible to vote in this upcoming endorsement meeting. Please attend, whether in person or virtually. Come out and meet all of these amazing ladies and decide for yourself who is the best choice for San Diego County. |

Community Food Distributions

| This Saturday, June 17th
The City of Lemon Grove hosts a monthly food distribution along with several partnering organizations. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
The following sites offer fresh produce and enough food to feed a family. For a complete listing of food resources, please visit the San Diego Food Bank or Feeding San Diego.
- 2nd & 4th Tues – 3 to 5pm: Christian Church of Lemon Grove, 6970 San Miguel Ave, Lemon Grove
- 3rd Mon – 10am until gone: Faith Chapel, 9400 Campo Rd, Spring Valley
- 4th Tues – 9am until gone: Heaven’s Windows at New Seasons Church, 2300 Bancroft Dr, Spring Valley
- 4th Fri – 9am until gone: Samoa/Lutheran Feeding Ministry, 2055 Skyline Dr, Lemon Grove
